Stand Up for Trucking: NASSTRAC Spring Meeting 2020

To our Members & Friends

It is with careful deliberation and consultation that we announce the cancellation of our Spring Stand Up for Trucking meeting originally scheduled to be held in Washington DC, April 27-28.

We would like to apologize to those of you who have received a cancellation notice from the Hamilton Hotel. This was done without our knowledge and before our final decision was firmed up. The hotel has issued an apology and they are working with us to reschedule.

This is a decision that was not taken lightly; however, due to the concerns we have for both our attendees and staff, along with the current rate of containment, we feel that this is the right decision. We are working with the hotel and the ATA on possible dates to reschedule. The earliest would be in June but before we lock down a date, we are going to wait until the end of March to see how the progression of this pandemic extends.

We want to make sure that any new dates will allow enough time for the current COVID-19 concerns to be resolved and will remain vigilant in monitoring this ever-evolving situation.

We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with you appropriately. NASSTRAC and CSCMP will be beginning a weekly webinar update for members only beginning Friday, March 27th. Information to follow soon.

Please stay safe. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Gail Rutkowski

Executive Director - NASSTRAC
